Because it seems like he's apologising for his mere existence. Plus if he wants people to get to know him, he should post something interesting that'll make people want to get to know him, don't beg for it!
Anyway, maybe its low confidence / self esteem ... and I understand that very well, I've been the guy apologising for everything ... maybe thats why it annoyed me?

I know, I was in a car park late at night once, and there was a couple in their car ... they must have had a terrible journey because they were so annoyed that they started wrestling on the back seat ... then two other men came along, to break up the fight I presume, but their trousers fell down and the woman started attacking their cocks ... they were all moaning and groaning, it was shocking.
