Popped mine a few times playing rugby,I feel for ya dude.
Ice and Ibuprofen will help with the pain and swelling, paracetamol between Ibuprofen doses will also help with the pain.
If it's hurting to walk on,strapping it up or a brace will help with support.Make sure to keep movement in it too, helps with the stiffness.
Rest is good, but gentle exercises are also good.Have a look online for home physio exercises, there's plenty of good ones available.
Hope you mend soon dude |

"Right I've dislocated my right knee, I clicked it back into place but it's sore and swollen. Any advice to get it better would be helpful "
I did this getting into a seat on a train years ago. Popped it back in but it was a 6 hour train journey!! Put ice on it, but partner had to meet me off train with wheelchair as I couldn’t weight bear at all. A&E where they drained a LOT of fluid from knee. Back to fracture clinic the day after for strapping up and crutches. Took 3 weeks till I could walk.
Good luck! |
