So you have been chatting and getting on well, a meet is tantalizingly close, then you say something that sends the temperature dropping and communication ceases. Being a man you have no idea what you said wrong but left feeling frustrated.
Ring any bells?

Yeah.
Surprisingly, we get this a lot from single guys.
We think it is because we are ‘second or even third choice’, and the guy gets an offer from their ‘dream’ meet.
We just block, move on, chalk it down to experience. |

There and to the left a bit |
It happens OP and won't necessarily be because of something you said either, although if you think it was, then perhaps you know what you said already? No point sweating it as you'll probably never know, even if it can cause you to scratch your head at times, maybe you said the wrong thing, maybe you were more invested in the conversation than they were, maybe real life happened, maybe they were a bloke pretending to be a lady and bailed before they were caught out and a thousand and one other possible reasons.
Sometimes conversations just fizzle put naturally - either way it's pointless trying to work it out sometimes as it'll lead to you over thinking it and seeing things that simply aren't there. |
