Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

There's 19 between us and 14 years after meeting we're still as strong and close as when we met.

I met my man almost 4 years ago, he is 19 years older than me.

He has more stamina than any man I've ever met. He's fun, hilarious, gorgeous, we have loads in common and I adore him.

Honestly, our ages don't make any difference. I never worry or even think about it, he does occasionally but I think I manage to reassure him.

As long as it's legal and it feels right who cares what anyone else thinks. If it's right for you and feels right for her go for it

Under a previous name and a previous joining about (7 years ago) I was fortunate enough to be with a lady 20 years older than me.

Without doubt the most highly sexually charged lady I’ve ever slept with.

Would again, in a heartbeat.

Age means diddly squat

Attitude and compatability is more important than age. It's just that often we tend to have more in common with people of same age due to shared social experiences and musical tastes etc.

As long at it's legal, and you both float each others boat then (vanilla or otherwise) age doesn't matter.

My partner is 16 years older than me - it works fantastically for us. Yes an age gap that big *can* work; it's about finding shared values etc. Obviously there might be generational cultural humour that's not understood, but that's only a small thing.

I think regarding the innocence thing - she's 27. She's not a fresh faced teenager. She's an adult who has probably had sexual experiences and more than capable of making up her own mind. You can go back to vanilla, quite easily. You have to want to.

I'm a hypocrite as I could never go out with a guy younger than me but my bf is 41 and I'm 28 so I guess it's double standards x

It may one day matter, but there are many other variables that may be equally valid in causing a breakdown of relationships. She likes You, you like her. I'd say go for it. You never know unless you try. You can't wrestle with the big picture. It's impossible to be 100 sure. All relationships require risk. If its a risk worth taking, age shouldn't be a factor (it's late and I'm tired. Apologies if my ramblings don't make sense )

Large age gaps are fairy common between older men and younger women. More rare to find where a woman is older than the man, especially where the woman is considerably more.

I know some people say women like older men because they're more mature. But in my experience men are often not that mature at any age. I suspect it probably has more to do with the power dynamic in society between men and women.

If it helps I've had a few relationships with women who have be 10 years my senior and all have good. The age has never been a factor.

21yr age gap here. The fun & love we share can't be compared to anything that's gone before.

It's the person that matters, not their age.

For us anyway!

Guess a big age gap must work for a lot of people, keep coming across profiles whete the man is a lot older than the woman. Strangely though very rarely the other way round ?

I am glad you took a risk with me as the 3 year difference could of been a major issue.

Especially when you start talking about how things were different in your day and listening to old fashioned music on your gramophone!!!

I think the main thing is that you are both at the same stage in life in the sense that you both want to settle or whatever. Honestly you’ll only know by going with it and seeing what shores the wave falls on. If it won’t matter in five years don’t let it matter for five minutes

Our age gap is 15 and half years. We've now been together for 14 years and swinging together for 13. As long as you and her are comfortable with it. It's nobody else's business!!

The age gap shouldn't matter if yous are comfortable with each other. I suppose maybe that in the back of your mind your thinking that when yous are getting older maybe she might leave you for a younger guy. My advice is go for it m8 great catch

You can't generalize. I find that I enjoy sex and non-sexual banter more with men much older AND much younger, "much" being defined as ± 10 years. It's the guys within a couple of years of my age who I find less interesting. I have also had pretty serious relationships on both ends of the spectrum.

Does an age gap that big work ?

Will she one day decide she needs someone her own age ?

Is introducing her into the lifestyle a good thing or should she keep her innocence?

Once you enter this lifestyle there’s no going back to vanilla is there ?

Many thanks for reading"

Depends whether she's a keeper if you like her a lot keep her out of this...... Imo

What are you worried about?

You are in the lifestyle why would you worry about introducing a new partner to it?

Sure that's the holy grail isn't it?
