Why in God's name hide your profile? friends list, I can understand, but your whole profile? I thought the object of this place was to meet people by advertising yourself, not join and then hide away.
I have seen this on some womens profiles, but it seems to be spreading to couples now and dare I say, even some guys! Just what are these people after? |

If you are refering to ppl who opt out of all searches ie hide there profile, we have always thought that this is because they are taking a break .

Maybe they're taking a break from meeting but are on here just to keep in touch with friends
its easier to hide your profile than write that you're not meeting on it as lots don't take any notice anyway
It also means you can come on here and not be hassled by people who see you online and then message you when you don't really want them to.........late at night is very normal for that  |

Have to agree with both above. Ppl also hide profiles if the have had problems with other members or are thinking of leaving. Its a good way of reading forums and stuff without being hassled with messages. And some ppl are not on here to do sex meets. Some are only looking for social group meets, cam fun, phone fun or just chat. Everyone is looking for something differenet. X |

my profile is hidden because if I am not active then my profile isnt either.
It stops the influx of mail and as has been mentioned, putting 'Not meeting at the moment' on your profile just gets ignored anyway.
This way I get peace to come on and talk to friends and use the site. |

We were in contact with a regular guy, who hid his profile because he was happy with the contacts/friends he already had. He restricted his play to us little lot. He was happy and this worked for him, so this may be another reason that other people hide their profile.  |

I hide mine sometimes as I am not proactively looking for meets, I prefer to meet via socials.
Plus not everyone on here looing just for fun, alas some mischief makers and having experienced some crap at times, I take time out every so often.
plus the button was put there for that exact reason. altho I prefer to call it a ' taking a wee break ' button as I have nowt to fecking hide .. |

Same as some of the others, I hide mine if Im not going to be meeting for a while - saves wastings pples time for them to message me and me just reply sorry Im not meeting.

Could this also not be used when doing a verification thing ??
Set up a couple of accounts then get a verified thing from 1 account to the second account for people looking to meet it would seem that they are perfectly genuine as they have good feedback from others?

I'm in hiding at the moment due to the overwhelming amounts of mail I get begging for my body, or something like that.
Just taking a break from it all but don't wanna delete my whole profile is the real reason. |

We met a cpl and we became friends on here. They said they wanted to meet us again but every time we looked at their profile they had blocked it so we give up on then as the situation as we did not know what was giong on. |
