a Primark shoebox in Leicester

Probably sounds about right. I wonder though how much of that is due to less of their life being influenced (brainwashed) by the media and social norms.

Yes,i can see that as being so, im 47 and completly happy. With maturity there comes an acceptence that we are who we are, less stress in everyday life, ie kids grown up, life kind of sorted, knowing who you are as a person. All adds to a general feeling of contentment and well being. I think when you are younger you are more prone to feel as though you need to live up to some false image. The "I seriously dont give a fuck" syndrome is a lovely thing to have

I'm going to put my 2 cents in this, women are like fine wines the older the better... They are a lot more classy and more refined also. On the other hand all women of all ages, races and shapes are all beautiful to me. I'm not saying I don't like younger women but I find I have more of an attraction to the cougars than I do with the kittens

I am 60 this year and I am pretty "confident" that my tummy and a few other bits are bigger than they should be lol. I used to be a stick insect but now full of contentment. On the whole I am a confident person

it could be right, dont think its a case of being more confidant i think its more that the older we get the more we accept what we look like, when women are young theres so much pressure to look a certain way and young girls spend so much time trying to look that way, but as we get older we learn to say......bollocks to that

Aye this is probably true. After pressure to look a certain way most of their lives, less expectations are placed upon women of that age so they don't have to worry about how they look, which seems fair to me as after all the responsibilities of earlier life.

The same can be said for blokes I reckon. I'm more confident with my body now than when I was when I was 20 mainly because I had the body then of a tall 14 year old then lol, which no young man wants!

I reckon men are most confident with their bodies over 55 too as a lot of men simply aren't bothered about staying in shape any more and no longer let having a gut or muscle wastage and sprouting hair in strange places bother them though I intend to celebrate having more free time at that age by bucking the trend, haha. This confidence they possess naturally will be seen as an attractive quality by those they wish to attract the same as it will for women of that age. So everyone wins really!

Reminds me of

""The flowers of Yorkshire are like the women of Yorkshire. Every stage of their growth has its own beauty, but the last phase is always the most glorious. Then very quickly they all go to seed." - From John Clarke's (John Alderton) ungiven speech in the movie, "Calendar Girls."

Mature ladies are deffinately hot!

If ever a movie demonstrated that!

I defiantly now say bollocks to the pressure. My body may be saggier and bigger but it's so sensitive and relaxed I'm happy with it.
