Who should provide the condoms?

I always have my little bag of condoms with me (be it 2 or 20), so I don't even see it as a discussion point at the time.
If however 2 (or more) people get into debating "You should have some, no you should bring yours" then I personally feel both parties should cut their losses, get out and move on with their lives. |

most guys I meet seem to rely on me having condoms with me, which is really annoying.
Only one guy on this site ever asked me which ones I prefer and offered to bring them.

+1...think it shows lack of commitment to safe sex |

I totally agree that we should all carry them and protect ourselves, but I can't understand why, after stating on our profile "safe sex only", and we have messaged them that there is no penetration without one, that they should still arrive at the meet without one! |

I always have my own since I react badly to some.
But I do sometimes wonder if some playmates hope I'd agree to bb if there were none to hand...
The ones who pull some out onto the nightstand before we start get brownie points - not only did they remember them, they want them handy are make it plain without words that it's safe play or no play! |

Thank you everyone for your opinions. Good to see that most on here agree.
Btw, most of those we have met off here and whose verifications we are showing are "gentlemen".
This has been our first time of participating in a forum [there has to be a first time for everything], so sorry for not getting it quite right earlier on!! Hope we'll be back for more. Rob |

It's common sense and good manners to have them with you, surely - as someone above said, if I'm meeting at a hotel I make sure there are condoms there right next to the bed, ready to go.
If they prefer to use their own that's no problem, and sometimes you get an interesting experience you weren't expecting (had some 'tingly' ones turn up at a recent meet!).
Only once did I meet a couple at a pub and suddenly realise after the 'Yes we're all keen, let's go for it' conversation, that I'd come out empty-handed. Popped to the loo (thank God I had some change!) and bingo, problem averted. I didn't tell them, of course, as I'd have felt embarrassed to have seemed so ill-prepared! When I got to theirs, they had some ready on the side - but I still felt like I'd done the necessary. |

I get a handbag full free when I go for a check-up..... but sometimes greedy bastards with big handbags have cleared the freebies or they only have flavoured ones left... so I also buy my own... and because I know I'll need them I buy packs of 10 or 12 when they are on 3 for 2.
The vast majority of people I meet carry their own.... most people I know who have been around for a while have a little play bag with condoms, lube, breath freashener and so on.
So if a guy turns up without any or phones on the way to ask "do I need to buy condoms" (and then turn up with a fresh in the wrapper 3 pack)... I can't help but raise an eyebrow and wonder why they don't already have a stash?
Is it because they don't normally use them?
Is it because they can't keep them at home?
Or are they just a selfish dickhead tourist? |

We always take them with us and use our own.. that way we know they havent been mistreated or not stored properly,, reduces the risk of splitting.... i dont care if they bring their own or not.. i have hundreds from the sexual health clinic.. i get some every time i go lol |

I always have them with me. A couple of years ago, when I was playing solely as a single and sometimes had meets at home, I always used to put several condoms on each of the bedside cabinets (saves scrabbling around for them and disrupting the play), then one time after the guy had gone and I went to tidy up the bedroom, I found he'd taken all the unused condoms with him and just let the coupleo used ones in an ashtray....feckin' cheek or what |

Those who turn up with nothing, especially single men says it all.
They can't accommodate, they don't want to meet in a public place first, they bring nothing with them, wine/beer condoms, they want it all given/provided.
They expect to be able to come straight round, 2 minute fumble, 3 minute sex and then go, WTF
Just having a cock is not enough, you need to show consideration and due courtesy and remember what it's about.
Love to all xx |

if you turn up with your own you know your covered, i dont think its anyones job to provide the condoms, looking after your own sexual health is your own responsibility, why would you leave that to someone else? |

What really bugs me is when they try and arrange a meet with you and say " I've run out of the ones I use- and haven't found any others big enough to fit can we not just do without?"
Considering your average condom can be blown up big enough to fit over a human head I'm sure one of the kingsize ones I keep for the comfort of the larger guys would fit.
If you prefer using your own brands and tend to look for meets does it not make sense to keep a stock of those yourself? |

"I am amazed at how many men rely on us to provide the condoms. Is this normal? Rob."
No I always provide my own then I know they are not out of date and are a reliable brand and quality made. |

I always provide my own condoms. I don't think its fair to expect the person you are meeting to provide them.
Slightly off subject, I have been very surprised at a couple of meets who expected bareback sex, which they certainly didn't get from me. |

Everyone's responsibility to provide! Simples!!! eek!
look after your own health first and foremost!
Don't rely on others to do it for you. |

Thought it was just me that kept a wee bag with toothpaste, toothbrush, condoms, lube and mouthwash lol. Even have wipes and tissues in my bigger bag.
Always handy to have and I started carrying it when I was single as the number of single guys who didn't carry anything at times was astoundng. |

For this reason and that a lady I regularly go the Chams with is also intolerant to latex is why I threw all of my ordinary condoms away and bought latex-free ones. |

And talking of Chams, another lady friend and myself had to provide a guy with a condom because he had "run out" earlier in the evening If it was down to me I would have sent him down to the bar to get one but my lady friend was rather desperate to "get on with it" so I gave him one of mine. |

"It is far better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
So, it's quite simple.., CARRY YOUR OWN CONDOMS!"
no offence.... but it does help if you practice what you preach in your own photos..... |

We meet loads of single guys and are always suprised even still at how many don't have condoms, or say they're outside in the car especially when the meet has been pre planned. Not sure if this is their way of trying bareback (no chance by the way). Now we always bring some with us so there's no excuse, bit pathetic in this day and age though in my opinion. |

Always take my own as struggle to fit in standard and don't expect anyone to pop out a 'selection box'! Size isn't always an advantage as it's been a long hard slog finding comfortable ones that don't feel like i'm being choked! Now have a fantastic cheap online source - any guys in similar circumstances PM and i'll let you know! |

I take my own, as I'd hate to spend half an hour travelling only for them to expect bareback.
I need some variety in condoms, though, the other month the guy was that big the condom was cutting off the circulation to his willy |
