Delaying periods

We have a rare meet coming up soon with some fabulously sexy people. However looking at the diary and counting days it is terribly close to that time of the month.

Had a look on the internet and there was mention of some product that could be purchased from a pharmacy that boasts it can delay periods for up to 17 days!

Has anyone tried this? Does it work?

Ask your GP, theres some tablets you can get that stops/delays it for as long as you take them. Our lass gets them when we have a special meet & doesn't want mother nature to spoil things

I've used these, you can also get them on prescription. They help with heavy periods too. Have a fun meet. X

I've also used this twice from Lloyd's pharmacy online and it did the trick. You just need to remember to take it, as it's three times a day and you need to start taking it 3 days before your period is due.

I think they are called Utovan, something very similar to that. You can see them on the website and order straight from there x

Or look into Beppy tampons if the blood etc is the only issue.

I've used these. Got them from the doctors. Came in handy for special occasions. Had no problems but next period lasted alittle longer which is what I expected anyway.

Glad to say I'm going through the menopause now so no need to worry anymore lol

As above, I got mine prescribed, told the Dr I had a holiday booked.. Start taking them 3 days before you are due on, take them for the time needed and then roughly 3 days after you stop taking them you will come on.

Worked perfectly

I’ve used them a few times and never had any problems . Period usually starts 2-3 days after stopping, and like said earlier it usually lasts a little longer.

They’ve been a life saver for holidays / special occasions. X

I’ve just got some tablets from the doctors as I think I’m due on just as we go on holiday this year! Not tried them yet. But glad I’ve got them as we’ve been invited to a private party just when my next periods due, so as I have them I will be trying them out!

My friends always takes them if she’s due on her going on holiday and says they’re great and do the trick!

Yes it does work take it from ideally 2 days before your period is due and stop it after ur meet

Ur period will start 1/2 days after stopping tablets

Ur next period will often be a little off normal time

Of used it for holidays etc

Thanks guys. So helpful.

For once the forums have a practical use. As opposed to a platform for whinging.

Now lets get back to griping about single guys
