"Wrong wrong wrong on so many levels"

Why is it wrong? The guy has a disability and is joking about it. So what?

This middle class "I will be offended on behalf of those I perceive as lesser than me" mentality is exactly what is destroying society right now. I can't stand it.

How about you develop a sense of humour instead?

What disability do you have OP?

There are ways of saying things, some are right and some are bad. In my opinion

"Just trying to make light of a shity situation didn't mean to offend anybody"

Am sure you didn’t intend that at all, but knowing how you open yourself up for opinions good and bad when posting on the forum, i find it bizarre the words used x

I got that from the opening title that’s where my comment said in jest about ex’s came in.. it was the following comment the wording I thought was wrong, yes fair enough making light of something in a joke about himself, but the comment description was general, and I thought was bad, but genuinely don’t think it was meant to be offensive as it reads!

You are entitled to describe yourself any way you see fit.

All I would say is that someone defining themselves as "cripple" isn't going to have me rushing to beat down their door.

I think people should be able to joke and laugh at themselves and call themselves what they like. It's this constant 'moral superiority' and 'denunciation culture' amongst other things which made me increasingly frustrated with living in the UK, to the point I have now decided to leave.

It seems the English never really got rid of the Class hierarchy mentality. They just replaced the wealth/pedigree factor with who is the most politically correct / social justice virtuous as the criteria for establishing a hierarchy.

The entire nation has gone nuts and it's become impossible to live in.

In answer to your original question OP, before the thread got a bit sidetracked...it's not a fetish but I would (and have) considered meets with someone with disabilities .

Hope you find someone down your way
