We have always considered Vanilla to be those who are not actively involved in the swinging world, so friends, family work etc.
Having said that we got told recently by another couple that we were to vanilla for them because we were not into BDSM so I guess vanilla is a sliding scale depending on the person. |

By ‘not into this’ do you mean just being on this site? To me, swinging is partner swapping, I don’t think single people are swinging, they’re just using the site to find sex. If a single person is on here to have run of the mill sex with one person at the same time then I’d say that’s pretty ‘vanilla’. But who cares what people say or what they categorise you as, if you’re enjoying yourself crack on.
