"Been Read"...

So we take the time to send prospective suitable nice couples who are looking for the same thing as us a nice, thoughtful well worded message to see if there might be a hint of interest and then wait...and wait...and wait....finally giving in, to check the sent messages and there is is...with the status of "Been Read".

it wouldnt take 2 mins to send us a polite "no thanks" or even better a "yes please !".

Even a "Deleted" would be better - at least we'd have an idea!

Erm - Thanks for reading - we feel better for that !

Happy Swinging!

"Been read" is better than "Deleted".

Deleted kinda tells you it's a no, but been read can mean many diferent things.

If you've sent a meesage to a couple, chances are only one of them are there. It would make sense that they would want their partner to see the email rather than unilaterally deciding it's a yes or a no.

Also, people mey be happy to have heard from you, but for whatever reason don't want to get back to you right now, but are happy to keep the message and contact you later.

Also, don't discount the fact that a lot of the couples profiles on here consist of only one person ever visiting the site. Far be it for me to suggest that many a couples profile is an excuse for hubby to get his rocks off by perving at people on here - but a bit like people peeing in swimming pools, we all know it goes on.

And finally - the amount of people who have profiles on here describing their undying need to meet people for wanton sex, but with little evidence to suggest they ever do, means that a lot of people will run a mile from an actual meet.

Just my 2p worth.

Having just checked out Natasha's photo, I can only say (in poor Mr T voice!) "I pity the fool who don't reply to your message.." Their loss!

It is a bit dis-spiriting, but it's just part of the process, try not to let it get you down

Mostly the opinion on this subject is to not let it get to you,no-one has to reply to anything and you probably would'nt want to meet those people anyway if you think they are impolite for not replying

Smile and move on to the next people, plenty of nice people on here to get to know without worrying about the ones that don't reply

have fun
