Just wondering if anyone else uses this to block those they are not interested in meeting rather than just for blocking someone that has annoyed them?
If I receive a message or wink from someone that I wouldn't meet, I reply politely to say thank you but not for me then block them to remove us from each others searches.
Thoughts anyone?? |

I have never blocked anyone, as not that kind of person. Even if they have been obnoxious I reply politely and ignore. However I have to laugh, men who are upset when I say no block me , talk about spitting dummy out of the pram lol but I can't bring myself to block |

We do. Also if we see someone in the local updates who we have no interest in meeting we block them without waiting for a wink or message. Saves time for everyone.

"I dont block anyone, even abusive people, while they are bugging me they're leaving others alone
I find abusive people amusing"
I find being blocked after receiving an abusive response to a perfectly polite message frustrating as I can't argue back (but can understand why?) Cowards? |

Well, I guess it kind of makes sense; I do see its use now!! Also what I do sometimes—and I hate doing it—is blocking people who repeatedly click on my profile while ignoring my messages, IF I message them. |

This is how I use it. Don't reply to winks other than sending a wink back if I'm intrigued. Never accept friend invites from people I've never spoken to |

We have a fairly long list! Stalkers/creeps/weirdos, people asking for or offering drugs, people that have got arsey after 'no thanks' and the rest are mosty just people we're never going to be interested in meeting. |

I block people I don't want to meet regularly especially if I send a polite no, because they often reply trying to sidestep the reason I have given them x |
