I lost some confidence after my ex......actually it’s too long a story for here lol. Anyway, I take it personally when someone reads a customised message that I’ve personally took the time to write and then just deletes it. It’s even worse if it’s deleted and then she blocks me
I do understand why though. I know how many messages women on here get!!!
On occasion though I’ve been given a “thanks but no thanks” type message. If that happens, I’ve always made sure to reply saying something along the lines of “thank you for the courtesy of letting me know”
Does anyone else do this? Am I wrong for wasting even more of her time? Would love to know other people’s opinions.
Just wondering, thank you for taking the time to read this. |

I reply to all first messages. I understand that it will feel really shit if no-one ever replies.
Some people reply and say thank you for replying. Hopefully it will make them feel a tiny bit human again.

If I'm not interested in someone then I always reply saying sorry no thank you. Only time I block is when it's a stupid childish message. Carry on as you are, manners go a long way in my eyes |

If someone has obviously read my profile and written a nice message I normally reply.
If I get a message saying simply "want to meet today" or "fancy a fuck" etc etc. I don't bother and delete.
I get too many messages and need some way of fast filtering. |

I mostly reply and I mostly wish that I hadn’t.
It tends to open up a line of communication then and it’s a waste of everyone’s time.
It mostly involves me saying no thankyou and then trying to change my mind. |

If the message is polite, we alaways try to reply. Rude messages get ignored. Really rude get blocked.
Try not to take it personally lovely. You may not float everyone's boat, but you will float some. Remember the ratio between men and women is very large and you can't see it as a slight against you. Online is so different to day to day life and you shouldn't let it get to you
