Blown out .... for Love Island!
Jump to: Newest in thread
Not many things surprise us here anymore but ...
Hubby asked one of our longest and trusted males if he’d take me out for some fun last week. (I have met him several times alone in the past)
However it turns out he had a date with Love Island so wasn’t free!!
Now whilst I realise that a mid fifties wife would be no match for the Love Island hotties in the house... I’m actually available in real life!!
What do you think?
Would love to hear your thoughts... |

"He simply wasn’t up for meeting, don’t see the drama.. it happens."
Wasn’t suggesting anything dramatic about it. A simple ‘not up for it’ is totally acceptable of course.
People clearly have different values. I don’t always fancy it myself. But I would never say ‘no thanks mate I’m catching up with Corrie’! |

Well yeah, he obviously could’ve worded ‘I’m not feeling it’ a bit better.. You’re hot as fuck so prob don’t get it too often, for us mere mortals we are used to it haha |

Sounds like just an excuse not to meet, maybe he’s found someone, maybe he doesn’t want to be your booty call, maybe something else? Does anyone with an IQ over 50 actually watch Love Island? |

"Blimey, I think I'd be gutted actually and if he asked to meet up another time I'd be 'Sorry darling I'm doing my nails' hair flick....binned!!!"
Damn. That actually made me giggle |

I love love Island... but I have sky Q so would just record it or watch it on catch up.
Hey at least he replied and didn't ghost you though. Everyone's allowed not to feel like it some times I wouldn't think too much about it! |

Oh dear had hubby’s mate lost his white stick and had the guide dog taken to the vet’s ? Seriously any male who would prefer to gawp at a rather sad bunch of inexperienced 20 somethings than spend an evening in your company is not worth bothering with. Madam, you have caused my phone battery to melt down. ......... |
