Beards are still nice but if short and trimmed in my opinion. In your first pic it looks quite bushy, like an islamic preacher, so can see why some have requested it. Maybe shorten and neaten it and see how you get on? |

I've found that women like my beard. Everyone I've met has always made a positive comment on it.
If I was asked to shave I'd refuse. I grew it at a very significant point in my life, when things changed for me for the better.
Losing my beard woukd symbolise going back to what I was before and I'm not going back there again |

I shaved mine off for fab meets as most seemed to be not lovers of them, however my lovely lady loves them so if a guy in a couole has a beard then it's a yes from Scooby. However I can grow on back in 2 weeks lol. Male  |

No...beards have had their day along with man buns...stubble beards are ok and suit some people more with than without.

Personly I don’t like beards. But it doesn’t mean I don’t like the person if we did have a man come round yes i would ask him to shave beards are and always have been a big turn off for me I don’t even like it when hubs has stubble but one of my closet male freinds has a beard

The difference between stubble and a proper beard is massive, all the comments about “neatly trimmed” ??? The longer the beard the more untidy it’s perceived to be...

If you wanna keep the beard keep it. If your not bothered and feel it's stopping you from gettin meets get rid.
I've have a big beautiful beard for almost 10years and if it stops me gettin meet (no doubt it has) then so be it but it's here to stay.

Interesting how people with beards are 'sheep' or 'blindly following trends'. Does this mean those who shave every day to conform to a long standing social convention and weird insistence that having hair is somehow untidy or unprofessional like 90% of people are crazy free-spirited maverick rebels? I have a beard and I have long hair. It puts some people off, it attracts others.
Most importantly I grew them because I wanted to and they’re for me.
If someone doesn’t like you for your beard, then they’re not for you. It takes all sorts and find the right people.
But also, if you want to shave the beard do it. The most import thing is you do it for you and not others. |
