Very specific age requirements

A lot of profiles have the 18 to 99 age range, some have 30 to 50 or 40 to 60. But I've noticed some with very specific ages ranges and was wondering how do people arrive at these ages?

Me, I have 18 to 99, but being honest seeing I have a 27 year old daughter, I'd seriously consider not meeting anyone under 30. But recently I saw a profile that had 34 to 53, that's pretty specific. The lower age could be for a similar reason to mine but, where does 53 come into it? What happens after 53 that makes someone too old?

We have 58 as our upper age limit. Chosen because 55 is about our upper age in reality but don't want to rule someone out just because they are a year or so older

Why not go for 60 though, probably the OCD in me but I tend to round up.

And I'm 55 by the way

Mine just shows what range I'm comfortable with to be honest. I have had trysts with older/younger but they were exceptions to the rule

I have a very narrow age range,like now, when I want to reduce my messages but not hide my profile. Other people possibly do it for similar reasons.

Most are 18 - 99 because they don't realise you can customise them... i don't think there are too many, if any 99 yr olds on here..

I tend to keep it at the max range, because I play online and like voyeurs, age is really only a number. Meets would be different but then I would update it to reflect this.

Or those that look at the person as a whole rather than narrowing it down to some arbitrary attributes.

Ours are genuine, but a couple we have previously met just slightly older than us keep rejoining with new accounts and they are now 10 years younger!

So pinch of salt required on that filter...

Gone slightly off track with my original question. I can understand picking decades - so 30 to 60 - but why pick 34 to 57....it's so random, what's special about 34 and 57? Why not 33 or 35, why not 56 or 58? Does that 1 year over make a difference?

Just seems that number has significance but why?

I have 35 to 50 on my single profile. This is because I prefer to meet men younger than me aged up to 50 but not younger than 35. I have found I enjoy sex more with this age group x x

Lots of people lie about their ag. Some even say in their profile text what their real age is. Profile age: 39, text says 50!

Why is it random? Any age they pick, someone will be complaining about it. Why 50 and not 51?

Because so many people lie, the real age they are looking for may be different. - 60 year old men lie and say they're 50. So women put 49 as their upper age to avoid them.

Mines 21-60 as a guide. It isnt locked in. I prefer 35+ but I've met some pretty amazing women my own age. If they are mature and we get on, then I'm happy. Willing to give anybody a chance

Having met people with photos at least 20 years out of date, I'm well aware of Fab Ages! Good sex doesn't have an age limit - but I don't meet people who might know my kids!

Now for me, the age thing provides a problem

With ladies, I prefer my own age group

With guys, I prefer much younger

So my age range has both ends

Generally though, guys over 35 wouldn't interest me and ladies under 35 wouldn't either

So ideally I need two age limits - 1 for each sex

That said, I have met outside of my preferred ranges, so they are loose

People excite me - get under my skin and you'll always be more than the sum of your age

Mines 30-55. But I'm more likely to be attracted to the older rather younger limit. Honestly I'm 45 I had a very hard paper round.

People often forget that the age range on their profile is the age range they must fuck- it's a swinging site. So if my age range is 35 to 50 and a 45 year old messages, I have to arrange a meet.

Pick your age range wisely, people.

Lol. My age range is the sweet spot of, messages seem to be less bad in that range than outside it.
