Ladies, do you care if...
Jump to: Newest in thread
As a hot-blooded male, I (Luke) see the occasional profile that gets my heart racing and I long to tell them how beautiful they are. In most cases we're not what they are looking for and/or they live an impossible distance away. In those cases, it wouldn't be about hoping anything might happen and I would not want to annoy or disrespect them, but that doesn't remove the urge to say something.
I can imagine some women would like to be told and others would ignore the 86th time they have been told that day.
If it were you, would you appreciate a Fab guy saying you are beautiful and/or sexy (in respectful language) or would it be better to keep schtumm?

I agree with above, I'm happy to send compliments without expecting response, I like to think that I may have made that woman smile and sometimes that is enough |

Well meant compliments can make your day, especially if they pop up in between all the usual shite....currently why we are in hiding, needed a break from the idiots.
So I'd say go for it.
I would always reply to a nice complimentary message no matter the distance.

I like compliments, as long as they don't come with strings.
I usually don't reply, unfortunately that's gone wrong for me more often than not, but it's appreciated (when it's not creepy as others have said). |

There and to the left a bit |
"I always respond to compliments that sound genuine "
I think that last word is the key - compliments on here can come across as being insincere and just thrown out there to try and get a response, so I tend to reserve them for either when I know someone well enough that they know they're genuine, or not make them the main focus of a message. |

I think they can be lovely to receive - some of the nicest messages I've received have been just them with no sexual agenda. I'd say go for it Op - people will interpret it how they choose but if it's well intentioned from you it's a lovely thing to do. |

Compliments are always nice to recieve.
I rarely reply to them these days though
It's actually one of the sad things about Fabs.
Some compliments maybe sincere, with no ulterior motive, just as you describe OP
But I've found, from experience that the minute I send back a simple thank you, it's seen as an invitation to instigate more.
I could write a very long list of reasons why it would be pointless or why I don't want to communicate with some people.
So to avoid the drama I rarely reply, which is a shame as some maybe truly lovely people
