Same thing happened to me spoke to a lady for 7 weeks.
Was on the way to meet up with her.
Stop to get the address and she block me.
But only just spoke before I left the house.
And people say it's us guy's that are the problem.
I can't even think how many messages we had sent to each other and the time spent on here.
But i guess like everyone else you question yourself.
Was it me did i do something wrong because that's the way it makes you feel.
After spending all that time on here.

The 1st time she cancelled 1.5 hours before.

He's not suggesting that. He's saying that even though they would be there too if it went further his job could be at risk. This is true in some cases although they'd struggle to prove you were actually there |

Seems to be quiet common being strung along ,has happened to me, only message people if they're going to a club,and they say come and say hello ,get to meet face to face and chat, had more success that way,and had further meets through other media |

So I didnt once say my profession was better or make out i myself are better than anyone i simply said i couldnt attend due to it. Also I send face pics but I font have one displayed |

Let downs seem to be more of a fact of life these day in all walks of life... I've been let down more than once after a week or more of planning...I have let a couple down before but cancelled 4 days before the meeting as my brother was in hospital... It's not as if you can take a non refundable deposit... lol.... |

We're not better than anyone but don't want to risk our livelihood for it, others do and that's up to them. Yes, we know people who have lost jobs so it's not an excuse it really is an issue for some people, is it really that difficult to understand.

I've been swinging for almost 10 years, and I've been a regular at Quest for just as long.
I dont live too far from the club either.
In all that time I've never encountered a neighbour or a work colleague at Quest, or the many other clubs I've visited around the country.
If by some fluke you did see someone, how could they prove you were there?
Without outing themselves, it's your word against theres.

This can happen for genuine reasons.
However, we've been seriously let down on numerous occasions by people from.this and another site SBD that's the reason we are taking time out from meeting. |

Must be something in the water in Yorkshire. Several flakes and last minute cancellations over the last few weeks. Thank goodness for friends who are up for me falling in with their plans when mine fall through! I try to sort back up plans now for new meets for this reason. Flaky men aren’t going to keep me from my rare opportunities to play! |

We had been messaging a "couple" for a week or so. We set up a meet and "they" were coming to our place for an evening meet. That morning "they" messaged to say the car had broken down but if we coul "lend" them some money they could get it fixed and come over next day.
We not so politely refused. Suprisingly we haven't heard from them since.

Oh! That is bad. Don't know who the OP was because only just seen this, but that Fabber has gone now. Damn! Hopefully will be able to come back and get to enjoy the site. There are plenty of good honest/genuine like minded Fabbers that won't waste time or mess about. |
