I just saw a profile stating they only meet ‘British men’ when I messaged to ask what they ment they decided to block me  . So, what is a British man ? |

My guess is that it's an attempt at a politically correct way of saying "no brown people"...
Which I guess is fair enough - there are lots of people who actively seek people of colour - our bodies are our bodies and it's entirely up to us who we get jiggy with.
I find it a bit daft laying down the law on your profile though, would be much easier to just ignore messages from people who don't float your boat... |

They have every right to specify that on their profile without being questioned, especially from someone who is not interested. Why care? People specify all sorts on their profiles from age to sexuality to gender to colour.... |

Easy to say that, but it's highly annoying & bloody time consuming when you get dozens of messages from people whose boat really should float off rapidly in another direction.
How do you know til you read, the message, check out their profile they're the total opposite of what you're looking for?
Putting preferences on profiles doesn't stop it, but it sure as hell reduces alot of it |

Maybe I've missed something but I'm not seeing this as the OP challenging people's rights to have preferences; I think he's questioning how to define a particular preference; I'm this case a British male.
It has confused me to, I'm Caucasian, but my ginger pubic hair may suggest Scandinavian, my surname is a popular French Surname and my face,arms and legs are always brown (naturally tanned) which could originate from the Mediterranean. British people are multicultural, multi raced and diverse - so I can fully understand why the OP has posed this question. |

My dear, I probably found the same need to send these 'alleged' insults in the same way that you felt the need to randomly message someone whom you had no interest (to quote you) and demand to have them explain what a 'British Man' is as stated on their personal profile.
A tip for the future my boy, when you have done something stupid don't tell the world (or in this case fab forum) all about it.
It is better to remain quite and let others think of you as a fool than to open your mouth and prove them correct.

I would imagine they mean without Looking/sounding obviously foreign. I think the key word is obviously, bearing in mind we are all foreign, it just depends how far u want to go back. It’s a bit unusual but no different to black guys only, we all have our own things that do it or don’t do it for us sexually. |

They may mean that, quite true. They may also mean born in the UK, regardless of colour. If they decided you weren’t their idea of British guess you’ve embarrassed them into blocking do they don’t have to explain or they’ve decided having said no, no more contact was needed. |
