When is a no-show a ‘no show’?

For reporting to fab purposes, what constitutes a no-show in your opinion?
Ghosting 24 hrs before a meet? Cancelling less than an hour before? Or do you actually have to be in the bar holding the drink for an (half) hour for it to count as a no-show? |

Cancellations are reasonable as they have told you,it's up to you if you feel it was genuine and whether to rescedule or block
A no show is when you have gone to the meeting point/they coming to yours,and they haven't turned up at all,I think that warrants a report |

When I was supposed to meet a lady in what turned out to be a right dump of a pub & sat there for over an hour getting bored watching Sky sport & deafened by the juke box. |

Reporting no shows???
Sorry but c'mon, please!
It's not nice, and frustrating and disappointing. However, no one signs a contact on here with a list of commitments or meet agreements.
I think a no show is actually probably a blessing, because someone like that is hardly going to be a spectacular meet.
I think it's ok to be peeved, block them and move on xxx |

The problem we have is taking the time to message back and forward arrange a meet then a few days before nothing??? Why waste peoples time, we have to arrange ahead with babysitters and it’s just inconvenient!!.. |

Same here, getting beyond a joke now, no shows, no messages or cancellation literally when I have set off walking or on the bus. Such a waste of time x |

I think it’s more if someone is serially setting up meets and not turning up. I don’t know whether Fab admin follow it up if there are a lot of reports. Anecdotally I’ve heard that they do. |

Yep. At least if meeting in a club you can stay and socialise and see if anyone catches your eye. It’s rare for me to arrange a non-club social with a guy because of flakey men. |

Why shouldn't you report them that's why there's an option to do so and if they get enough reports action will be taken, that way if it's a Joker getting a kick out of not turning up they'll be dealt with, plus block them as well |

The only possible definition of a no show is in the name, no show. If they don't turn up at the agreed place and time then they are a no show. If they are ghosting or something else then it cannot be considered as a no show, although it is just as annoying.

It was her suggestion to meet in that particular pub. |

Sitting in the bar by yourself, 30 minutes after the agreed time, is a confirmed no-show.
Ghosting before the meet could be a bad case of nerves.
Cancelling in the run-up to the meet can happen for various reasons, and at least they contacted you to let you know.
Was the person who let you down, well verified OP? If they've met others, it does seem odd they left you hanging with no explanation  |

Even if they had I wouldn’t see anything particularly personal or sinister in it. I’m hardly the first person to have remarked on an increasing number of no shows and ghosters. It’s just irritating and time wasting. Time I would have preferred to spend on someone reliable, fun and willing to drop their pants.. |
