Hi all ,
after been on this site for a few months we have noticed in a lot of profiles it say "we are not hardend swingers".Can anyone elaborate what a hardend swinger is?

Probably its people who have to have a meet once a week or more and get withdrawal symptoms if they don't.
Those who put sex before everything else!

i would think hardend swingers are those who cant get enough of it and their life is swinging, and people who wouold maybe do things that you wouldnt ever do as it either scares you or you think thats just to kinky,weird,etc!!!!

I would hazard a guess like some others here, it refers to those members who feel they HAVE to meet every week or more.
Those profiles that have lots and lots of verifications from many others over a short time period. I have seen some profiles that show people meeting 3/4 times a week!
There is a difference between hardened (above) and experienced. Those of us who like to meet now and again, maybe once a month, maybe less than that, to have a pleasurable time. Rather than just out and out sex just because we can. |

The lives of a certain couple that we know revolve around swinging, it's the main focus of their lives and they seem to have meets or try to get meets almost every week, they travel the length and breadth of the country for a meet, nothing, not even their kids get in the way of their fun.
That is our take on a 'hardened' swinger, granted it's an extreme example ...... |

Hardened Swingers is usually used in the negative (e.g. "We're not hardened Swingers") and simply means very experienced Swingers who are very active in the scene. The reason this term is often used in the negative is because a lot of people who swing do not necessarily live, eat and breath swinging. Saying, "We're not hardened Swingers", is usually just another way of saying, "It's OK, we're normal and balanced, honest!"

Can any of us, swingers, be called 'normal' seeing as this is something of a minority and unusual interest in the eyes of the general population?
If someone or some couple while swinging seek and enjoy a lot of sex with a lot of partners, does that mean they should be referred to in derogatory terms?
Personally we prefer the word 'experienced'. Having been on the scene some time and being at least moderately active (sometimes so sometimes not) we don't actually believe there is any such creature as a hardened swinger cos we ain't met one yet.
But if anyone would confess to being one or to having met one, then you may convince us otherwise. Our gut feeling is they don't exist.

we dont say on our profile that we are not hardened swingers ,but if we did ,it would mean that we dont play every night of the week,not hardened means every now n then when in the mood,i think (to us anyway),as in its not essential to play every free time you have.xx |
