Non have ever offended me but some witty ones have definitely impressed me enough to read their profiles, even when they are of a different sex / orientation to my preferences. |

Likewise not offended but how some people chose their user name bemuses me!
I love to see the amusing ones clearly given some thought, avoid the ones with absolutely no thought and I suppose as it’s a swinging site there will always be those who feel the need to dig into the crude or vulgar box! |

First impressions count, especially on a site like this where the shop window is busy
Personally crude names make us skip past.. it’s up here with the toilet in the back ground or the empty beer cans and ashtray profile pics
It’s different for everyone of course |

I can't recall ever seeing a username that actually offended me, nor any that were even mildly irritating. I've seen plenty that are a bit crude for me, and a few cringe-inducing ones, but generally a name wouldn't put me off someone. I'm sure some folk think my name is daft, I don't mind!

"Offended, no. But it says something about the person/ couple, quite often. That may not always be good. (I'm speaking generally not specifically) "

A username can often give you an instant idea of a persons outlook or attitude to the scene. |

I wouldn’t set much store by a username. Far more important is how they interact in real life, face to face. I often think to much store is set by what people write here. |

Never been offended and would certainly never give anyone crap over what's their choice, but might give some a bit of a wide berth |

"We've been put off by several usernames as they suggest we may not be er compatible. Flip side is that we've also msgd a few people where we thought their name was funny and/or clever. "

Some types of usernames have been highlighted in the past as being off-putting to people. I'm fairly open minded, trying to focus on the person instead and realise some people perhaps don't like mine.
A lot of single guys seem to fall into the position of using explicit but off-putting names, perhaps assuming it makes them a draw.A bit like some think over-revving their car makes them more masculine |

Offended? Naw
I've seen a few that have made my tummy flip tho, and not in the butterfly way
Yes, it may only be words but to me it says a little about their way of thinking and it had absolutely put me off people. First impressions and all that jizz.

I always wonder whether a person’s username is a sobriquet rather than a pseudonym.
In case of the former, depending on the name, one’s reputation may be quite interesting! |

Since you ask, the short version of your user name conveys a clever Star Wars enthusiast. The longer version emplies your selected orientation might need tweeking |

There and to the left a bit |
"Not offended at all but does denote whether I would talk to a person or not
I think your name has to be one of the best on here!
Thanks "
There's two of you on my Hotlist with very similar usernames - confuses the heck out of me when you both post new pics/status updates around the same time
As for the original question - nope usernames don't offend me as such, make me cringe and would put me off conversing/meeting them though. |

User names with DOM or sir etc are a delete, same with silly immature ones like big lash etc. It to me shows how they are as a person to choose that user name. |

I like names that have had a bit of thought into them. It does reveal a bit about the person in Most cases.
I didn't choose my name, but it just kind of stuck lol. I'm quite happy with it now tho, it still suits me. |

Not offended but anything mentioning 420/heavycummer/smasher/destroyer tends to put me off.
I've had some rather amusing ones add themselves to guest lists. It's funny when they arrive and sheepishly mumble "pussysmashingstud*" to you when you ask them their username.
*similar example/not an actual username (hopefully) |

Some can put me off, others just reveal negatives about that person. I do have more concerns though about gaping spread arse pics as main pictures on profiles it makes me heave |

At the club when people check in I'm like "Sorry, could you say that a little louder please? I can't hear you very well". Some cringe. One guy said "Fuckinghell, I really need to change my username. It's awful"

I don't get offended. But I've judged you by yours and wouldn't interact with you purely because of it. Even without looking at your profile I'm guessing you aren't the sort of person I want to be around. |

I don’t like it either, but I find the shouty capitals in the profile write up more offensive :/ |

I used to co host a Saturday lunchtime pub social and had the same thing happen. I encouraged them to write it on a piece of paper if they went bright red. Was rather amusing at times |

Can't claim any credit for mine. Just from the rest of the builders gang I worked with. All 6ft+ so when the steel beams were being lifted into place, I was always excused 'cos I'd have just been hanging on while they lifted. |

We never get offended by their choice of name. However, if it is an insight into them that we don't like it will put us off arranging a meet. Yes, we know it's superficial, but if someone has taken the time and thought to want to be known as Mrrockhardveinydickwithcumspurtingoutofit, then we know more than enough to make a decision |

That's exactly the criteria that I think people should go by with their names; if you can't proudly state your name to peopled without getting the face, then you need a serious rethink! |
