I’m thinking about going to a club, is there a particular club that would be recommended and on a certain night? Obviously distance is an issue but I’m from Manchester and willing to travel for a full night in a club. Sheffield, and surrounding areas, Blackpool, Liverpool... |

OP every club is different and what some people love others will hate. The only way to know is to go and try it. The good news for you is there are loads of clubs in your area. Have a look on the club reviews page to see what others are saying about the clubs. There are links on there to the club websites too.
Do your research before you go. Some clubs have specific membership requirements so don't just rock up at the door and expect to get in.
Go with no expectations of anything else other than a sociable evening. Be friendly and chatty with people and they may just invite you to play with them.
If you find one club isn't to your liking don't let that put you off completely, a different club may be right up your street.
I have visited Cupids a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Other clubs in the north west I plan to visit at some point are townhouse in the wirral and those in Blackpool. |

Hi op
There are a few good clubs and parties in Manchester have a look on the forum.
Also xtasia is good for beginners as it has a good vanilla club vibe. Bar dj dance floor. Takes away the pressure of thinking you have to play. Very friendly people as well. Also has premiere inn next door so you don't have to worry about getting back
Hope that's helped x |

Ok brilliant, that’s helped out a lot. And yeh I’ll be sure not to let the first club I try to not put me off if it’s not to my liking. I suppose it’s like anything else in that respect.
Thanks for you advice I will take it on board and have a look at the club reviews. |

Yeh I’ll take a look at that, sounds good to me if it’s pretty chilled out like that.
