Looking for some late summer sun maybe mid October to Gran Canaria, any recommendations for a hotel in Maspalomas all inclusive?

Never been to the Canaries before, normally do Greek islands

Abora Caterina was good last year- nice naturist terrace as well. Very close to the Cita Centre

Would agree with that, it's ideally located and get an adults only area room as they're very nice

Yes it's all inclusive and the food while not 5* is good and snack foods and drinks are available 24/7

If you want a really good all inclusive try the Riu Gran Canaria in Meloneras,

great food, facilities and really nice rooms

Booked to go to different Rui in September too.

That’s where we were last June!

Nice. And where we discovered what goes on at the beach!!!

We stayed at the rui before and the location was great, but food options are a little limited there. Most swingers seemed to stay next door at the arbor mentioned above, and that is where we plan to stay next time we are there.

We have stayed in Gold. No kids, so relaxing.

But quiet to the point of dull. No bar or social area as such, and no good for evening meals

We loved it, but went all inclusive since

Not at all, we followed your advice on the spain forum when we were going for the first time and as total newbies it was more helpful that you could realise lol

Glad you pointed that out.

Gold was recommended to us by quite a few people too

Only thing was, it didn't do all inclusive but it looks really nice

It looks a lovely hotel. We stay in Riu Don Miguel. It is half board, but we tend to eat out, as the meal times don't suit us and we're definitely not up for breakfast

There are several Rui hotels. The all inclusive 24/7 cheaper than the half board! So even if you eat out at cita now and again, still cheaper at all inclusive...

I think people miss a trick by booking all inclusive, far better to eat out and explore and it's not expensive either.

It's the times that don't suit us. In the Don Miguel, dinner is 6.30 or 8.30. We like to eat about 9-9.30 .

Rui we were in (used Rui last 5 holidays) dinner until 10:30 and three al a carte restaurants but little earlier. We eat late too. But also, as cheaper than half board, still go out to restaurants. Last day we were in Cita, lovely meal out.

We stayed at dunas suites and villas last Oct. All inclusive. It was one of the best we've been to in Spain/canary's. We had our own Bigalow with lounge/kitchen etc. We plan to go again this year
