I'm not sure. You can get away with not paying if you don't have a TV and don't live stream. Though do research before canceling anything.

Don't know if you can get any moneys already paid.

Wonder if you called them if they know.

You need BWC! (Black and white contract). £49.00. Don't be paying £145.50 to the BBC when you're seeking a cheaper alternative. Daft that! And you'd still be getting the benefits of BBC.

apparently if you say you don’t watch live tv you only watch catch up tv then you don’t need a licence apparently

I'm sure to use iPlayer for catch-up or live you need a licence. If I remember the rule came in 3-4yrs ago.

When you use iPlayer it asks if you have licence

If you use iplayer for catch up on a TV or a device such as a tablet or laptop you still need to pay for the licence

Do they even supply bwc TV?

Can you opt for that .. ohh I wonder if I can change the setting in my TV and save myself a hindered quid ???
