what position are you talking about?
prop? Hooker? lock? back row? half back? centre? full back? winger?
they all have different builds to suit the position.
and are you talking about league or union where the positions have different meanings and thus have differently built guys filling those positions.
or southern hemisphere rugby where they use different systems and therefore often have people of differing builds in the same position? |

Scrum half, centre and full back
Have the broken deformed collar bones, split ribs, broken ankles, Double knee surgery scars, etc
And yes and the nice thighs as well
And a hatred of flankers for stepping on my feet whilst they are protecting the side of a scrum |

Although scragging a scrumhalf by the collar is the best of all |

As a scrum half I find a quick way of preventing a flanker from stepping on your toes is too find your knuckles impacting his jaw bone
But back to the subject in hand, the wife prefers a rugby players build to be honest (preferably when they play the game too)! |

but the point is - there's no such thing as a rugby players build - the range of builds can range from short and fat to tall and lanky and everything in between |

"I suppose a lot of ladies asking for the "rugby player build" is a bit like a lot of men wanting the "beach volleyball player build" lol... "
majority of which are very slim, average size in uk is 16, men tend to like something to grab hold of all depends on what you are attracted to at the end of the day.

Ah, but the chest/bicep/thigh demensions of the "average" man is probably a lot less than that of the average rugby player. Though for ladies it remains a fantasy, as does the beach volleyball look for a lot of men!
At the end of the day though it is just one particular fantasy. I don't have a preferred body type I go for so long as its evident that the owner of said body takes care of themself. In the same way a lot of ladies may fantasise about sporty types, but choose as a life partner a man who isnt athletic at all. Variety is after all the spice of life.... |

Also looking for the same - am built like a rugby player (as a keen weight trainer) and other half wants someone the same size/build but every guy we've met has been less muscular/smaller than me - if you fit the bill, get in touch! |

Whatever the numbers, you can guarantee there will be more guys who advertise themselves as having a 'rugby build' than there are guys who actually have one ! |
