Seen in far off places

Of course, depends on what you like / what cuisine you are looking for / the occasion etc?...

'The Man Behind the Curtain' (68-78 Vicar Lane, Top Floor Flannels, LS1 7JH) I would suggest is a good option / is well worth a try.

Hope you have a nice time whatever you choose x

Ok so I’ve been to most of the places in Leeds..

Man behind the curtain is good- hope you have an Amex black card waiting list can be a bit long,

Tattu vey nice and pretty food is ok,

Gusto is very nice

Harvey nicks 4th floor lovely place - you might see me there.

Dakota bar and grill - worth a visit

Kendals bistro- think French with a twist

Lots of chains but I try to avoid them.

Ivy is agreeable but people go there to pose really.

The list is endless!

Art’s Cafe is brilliant - relaxed atmosphere but fine dining food (and reasonable prices!). Maven over the road for cocktails after

If you like Lebanese, there is an awesome place, Caravanserai, by the Corn Exchange that sells food straight onto the street but there’s a room upstairs...well worth a visit!

MyThai if you want Thai food *drools* Best Thai I’ve had outside of Bangkok.

I would recommend Bibi's fabulous food, outstanding decor and on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons there are showtime events with live bands (some great tribute acts).

Finaly last Saturday we went to Leeds. Firstly we have had a bottle of our homemade wine on train station then we decided to move our sexy arses to district bar for pint-difficult to find but pretty good. After that we went to urban beauty for my full body massage-great. Then went to Tharavadu-delicious food and great bottle of wine. When our bellys was full we went to the Maven and after that another pint in district.. Then we start to think to go to quest but was deffo too d*unk . Catch up train home and spend the rest of night in bed

So we are in Leeds this weekend and planning on heading to quest. As much as we love food and really nice places to eat, where can people recommend that is great but also good on lighter choices? Big meal + greedy girls night doesn't seem like the best idea!

Can't go wrong with Harvey Nics in the Victoria arcade.

Depends if you're on foot.

Crafthouse. Really good food but the portions aren’t big and you don’t come out feeling stuffed. Just gently satisfied.

We like Thai and agree My Thai is excellent . We don’t think you can book though as we entered to find a queue a bit like a chip shop queue and it just shuffled along slowly as tables became free . They served up bottled of Beer as you were queuing up ! Also JinosThai cafe in up in Headingley is very authentic .

And if you need something long, black and strong the morning after, I can recommend Laynes Espresso on New Station Street (next door to Friends of Ham mentioned above). Coffee and breakfasts to suit all appetites.

Oh I love their breakfasts. I work in Leeds quite a lot but don't often stay over or even late enough for dinner. It's just a rare opportunity where myself and Bob are in meetings in the same city, with the chance for us to stay over...
