I have friends on here who I could ask to verify me ( I wouldnt) and who would know that Jim doesnt beleive im the sexiest kinkiest bitch on here as hes just saying that to keep in my good books?

When I start to see regular negative verifications I may start to beleive they are a good idea. Until then I still use my own judgement.

The simple answer is that they don't want others knowing their business. Its not dissimilar to not having public face pictures or an accurate location. People like to keep specific level of privacy. Surely you must understand the desire to as you are like me and dont have a face picture showing.

We block ours because we haven't met anyone new for ages.

We meet old friends occasionally who have already verified us, so don't see the point in re-verifying.

However, if people asked to see them they're welcome.

People are starting to play the discretion card when a question is asked the same as they use "because they can", "its their prerogative" etc instead of giving a viable answer.

We're all on a swinging site, we all have profiles, many with face pics, so how can showing a verification be indiscreet?

Verifications are a good way of helping people choose who they'd like to meet, which was probably the original concept.

It makes one wonder if veri's are sometimes blocked as a means of duplicity, were the profile says they will only meet one kind of person but their veri's prove otherwise.

Now that could be taken a few ways but to me it looks like a blatant attempt to inflame and get a reaction by picking on a specific group.

The simple answer is likeable people get meets and verifications, people who go to socials do to and attractive people.

All becomes clearer now you obviously have a beef with an individual. Its probably better to leave specific cases out of the forums as its never nice and can come across as low rent. Insulting any group isn't a classy thing under any circumstances and never wins you friends.

Personally, I don't like them.

I think they can be both misleading and tacky at times.

I am not casting aspersions on anyone who has them but they are certainly not the 'magic bullet' of finding who is genuine and who isn't.

I have read from the beginning, you had answers for and against from lots of people. As was said many are social from parties lunches clubs etc.

Many are just not willing to share their fuck list with others.

Or indeed there may be those who feel they will be judged by others just because of the people they have met.i.e blacks or asian or someone can get ratty with them if they think they have shagged their 'exclusive' swing pals.

There is no excuse for abuse- ever!

The 'tacky' thing comes from a little group I have encountered who verify each other on a bi-monthly basis yet have known each other for years.

Just my opinion of course but leads me to think there are two worlds colliding so to speak.

The 'old' swinging world of clubs, socials etc and those used to the online casual (and often one off) meets.

laine it wasnt the reason i think, i was aking if that was the reason to find out, it has been answered but i also feel that i have been abused just for asking, because some didnt read the origional question and jumped in half way down and took things out of context it has sparked some interest , i will think of another question to ask , it is very interesting how people see things differently , no one right or wrong just there perception, shame some have to force it downyour throat so to speak lol

I think what you have to remember is not everyone on here is a couple, i meet more than most couples because i have no partner at home to have sex with, if i did maybe i would be happy with 2 or 3 meets a year, but being single 2 or 3 meets a year just isnt enough sex for me as i have a very high sex drive so need to meet more regular

If meeting lots of people puts some off me, so be it as a single female i dont have to worry about the odd few who choose to judge me for being single with a sex drive

The OP seems to feel that verifications exist to show who and how many people someone has met. They don't, they're a way for someone to get anther person to evidence that they're a man/woman/couple and that's it. This being the case, no one has to show any if they don't want to.

If you then choose to use them to choose your meets from the content/quantity - your choice but no one is obliged to show them all - it's not a case of honesty v deceit.

I didn't used to show most of my sexual ones because I'm not keen on the detail people sometimes put in them, that's between me and them.

People have lots of reasons why they don't show their veri's. The site have given them a choice of wether to show or not...I just respect their decision and to be honest never wonder why....but then we don't put too much importance on verifications wether that is lots or a few.

I am not sure if you had an agenda like suggested in the middle of the thread, but if you did, you won't be the first or the last as lots of people have done it before now, be that newbies or regulars....but what always surprises me is people join a swinging site where you are looking for multiple sex or sex with other people and then sneer at others doing exactly that.

It is obviously your choice how you decide to play with people and most people will respect that, you really should afford the same respect to people who choose to play with more than you would.

I keep mine in private as who I have met and what has gone on, is only the business of the people I meet and myself.

If I am about to meet someone and they ask to see a veri or two to show that I do actually meet and the veri hasn't been left by a mate, I will open a couple up so they can see and then hide again after they have looked.

I have no issue with writing a veri for other people and it is up to them if they display it or not.

I find candid veri's quite distasteful to read and it is a simple case of TMI in some cases.

The ones that start 'wow, wow, wow' tickle me though - you can tell that they have been written by someone still on a sexual high.

I always try and 'calm down' before I write one

I am part of a couple and we have two profiles. People tend to verify MrShields profile as he arranges the meets. I've had just one verification from a social meet but that doesn't mean I don't meet for sex. Also, a lot of people don't verify so no-one knows how many I've slept with (not a great deal because of intermittent ill health) but the lack of showing verifications cannot determine the quantity or quality of a shag with me
