Whatever Happened to Dogging

When did the art of dogging suddenly become a thing of the past? Have sites such as this caused the demise by sites becoming too well known. A simple fab search nowadays highlights that 90% of dogging meets are in Scotland, wonder what the reasoning behind that is? |

I suppose it makes sense, people posting sites and requesting ‘spots’ certainly doesn’t help the situation. Those north of the border must just not give a fuck then haha. Don’t get me wrong it still happens but just on a much much smaller scale than say 5 years ago. Interesting. |

All very valid points. I’m aware that they still exist, I’m a regular at a few local spots but tend to spend 99% of my time fending off gay guys who want to ‘drain me’ as they put it. Each to their own though ay! |

a local dogging spot has now turned into more of a outdoor fun spot, no car fun nowadays, because of the location, its safer, more discreet to find one of the many secluded spots and just get it on in the cover of the bushes and small buildings in the park  |

Boy racers were more of a problem than the local police . Sure they drove around more to make sure people were safe but the boy racers were there to spoil things lol |

There was a place near Chatham I took someone to around a decade back via the-other-swingers-site - great evening and she got a lot of loads in her.

It's quiet and remote and with global warming not as cold as it used to be.
There aren't so many prudes up there too. |

We like the idea of being watched playing in the car, however we do have quite identifiable vehicles so don’t want to be recognised afterwards.
Also the risk of being filmed, police turning up, people trying to get too involved and even non willing vanilla people showing up and seeing something that might offend.
For us it’s always going to stay on the nice idea but not for us pile. |

There were three very well known spots in our area and as you could have guessed, known by the council and police also.
Fortunately, we’ve found 2 new locations that’s away from public attention, 4x4 needed. |

I knew several in and around central London but it’s gone quiet. Too many time wasters and foolish people blabbing out locations. Plus there is a website that gives out the locations too. Shame really |

The internet has had an effect on other places used to meet people for sex, including pubs. Some view the internet as more reliable, safer and it can be accessed whatever the weather. Around me, it's a mix of boy racers and non-doggers who have reduced attraction to the sites. |
