Manchester (he/him) |
There's a thread that runs weekly filled with all types of runners over in the lounge. If you search 'crap runners' it will pop up for you.
There are c25kers in there all the way up to marathon and ultra runners, they're all very supportive and welcoming there. |

As Tea Monkey (no relation) said there's a regular running thread on here although it's got quiet of late.
To answer the comment about marathon season, I did Manchester last week and this is the first time in 5 years I've not been at Brighton either running or spectating. And I'll be at VLM supporting in a couple of weeks.
Then it's the countdown to Amsterdam in October |

Haven't run for about 7 years (due to a health isdue) but up to that point I trained on average 5 days a week for 32 years so I have some experience - also achieved some very decent 1/2 marathon times. |

"Well done mate do u miss it, I got onto running quite late on and not sure I really enjoy it but do enjoy the results."
I used to miss it but now I cycle (when I can), which actually suits me better.
I loved it, I'd have days of bad training runs then, out of the blue I'd have a really good one or if I wasn't expecting to do well in a race I'd win it. Was so great to get to 6 min/pace, then after a year or so 5.5mins then (eventually) sub 5 mins (for 5 miles). But even without great results I still loved it - made me feel on top of the world. |
