Can’t say it’s something I’ve noticed , as long as the armpit is fresh and clean I don’t mind furry or smooth

Does it really matter? I'd guess that if a guy shaves, it's what he prefers. If he's just doing it for someone else, I'd think twice.

It’s unlikely to be a reason for me to meet up with or not.

Isn't it strange that men are expected to have hairy pits but women are not?

It all just grows naturally, after all.

I have shaved my arm pits for over 30 years. The reason I do this is that I never get B O as i have no hairs for the bacteria to form.

Exactly this..

I too have been shaving my pits for years..

I can see how it may appear odd to some, but it’s well worth it, for the reason Mr Nice has mentioned above

I've shaved my pits for years to avoid the smelliness thing. These days I also do everything below the belly crease including legs - reduces saddle sores when riding the bike and my legs are less zitty....

Never came across someone who shaved their armpits, so I have no idea. It would be interesting though

A trim it's just good grooming. A full shave, maybe a little over the top!

Iv started shaving my arm pits , it came by default to be honest , I got a skin boil under on and an ingestion of the skin pores, so you clear it up I shave under it to get the infection out and put cream on , so if I did that arm pit why not the other, that was in January so since everything has now cleared up I still shave under and as another member has mentioned earlier it almost eliminates BO , so it’s can’t be a bad thing x

I prefer an unshaven armpit personally. As a pp said, I love lying in someone's arms and nuzzling the soft hair. There's something very comforting about that.

Getting rid of pit hair does NOT eliminate BO. The bacteria that causes the smell don't just live on hair.

That is very true. It does however reduce the amount of bacteria that can grow to make the odour. You still need to use good personal hygiene and deodorant
