The new law was supposed to come in to effect in 2018 and was deferred to December 2018 then deferred to 1st April and now deferred again. The law was passed in 2017 but seem to be unsure on data security etc. They say it will come in to effect soon at which point you will not be able to access ANY adult site from a UK location without verifying your age.

I have just accessed You Porn and XHamster purely in the interests of *coughs* “research”.

I don’t use a VPN and I wasn’t asked to confirm my age so maybe the powers that be are a little distracted by the chaos that is UK politics and have forgotten to flip the block switch?

The switch hasn't been switched yet and the new date for the switch not announced yet.... the government just says it will be enacted soon.
