"Nothing like a well tailored suit to your exactly specifications to make you feel like a million bucks. "
Meant to say exacting specifications. Silly autocorrect.
Anyone partial to 3 piece or double breasted or simple old standard suits?
For me the ideal was that scene of Bond joining Goldfinger for lunch. Got me a grey one tailored just like that I'll admit |

"A gentleman should have at least one good suit in his collection
'tailored' suit ...though I'm sure this is what you meant"
Indeed I did. After years of off the peg ill fitting ones I finally succumbed to getting one fitted for me and the difference is amazing |

I always like to make an effort and wear shirt and tie and waist coat and trousers dont tend to wear a suit jacket as never really feel like they fit properly or sit properly, and think its a good look even for a fat lad like me lol always get compliments |

Never leave home without a jacket and tie on, never wear jeans, trainers or t-shirts. I find the more formal it is the more comfortable I am. But, it would be a boring world if we all lijed the same things |

They don't make suits like they used to Everyone of mine has shrunk but only around the waist. Even the one I was born with has now got creases and stretch marks. Now if you really want retro how about a blazer and flannels.
P.S For those under the age of 75 I can supply an explanation for "flannels". |

"I like to get suited and booted but the blue suit and brown shoes thing needs to stop ...... TODAY!!!"
Couldn't agree more; brown shoes are for the country or with jeans. Black shoes with any formal wear |

I used to work in the City from the 80s onwards. At first it was always a suit and tie for work. I have to admit that I always felt more professional with a good suit, highly polished shoes, a decent shirt, cuff links and my indulgence, a Hermes tie. Decent quality Italian cashmere overcoat and black leather gloves in the winter.
As dressing down become more common I also dressed less formally. It may have been more comfortable - the tube could be like a sauna in the summer, but I have to admit I still preferred the formal dress code. Now I’m retired the suits have mostly gone to charity. I only wear one now for funerals or weddings. |

As big a sartorial crime as this is; the wearing of t suits in town or at formal events is a far bigger crime |

The curse of the fab filters strike again, I’ve tried posting comments about certain suits whose material rhymes with greed, but couldn’t due to it containing a herby word. |

I've only just noticed the missing text; but thanks for explaining the reason why. Although a strange filter to have when the slang 420 and various others for illicit powders sneak past.
But you at least got the wooden fabric I was talking about; I would have used the prefix Harris, but most T&£@d suits are just cheap imitations |

Having had a flip through the ‘suits’ pics... I have to say there were some incredibly sexy guys...
And quite a lot who clearly think that sticking their cock through their flies looks really sexy
Brain in trousers.... |
