I'm sure I am not the first person to ask, any one thought about making a small porn company with a niche tied to it? I just finished my film degree and am thinking about how to apply my skills |

Uk porn is pretty limited by the extreme porn laws so id make sure you familiarise yourself with whats legal before you begin.

you might want to explore some of Pandora / Blake's experiences - they're an excellent niche porn producer struggling with the UK legal framework

What would be the niche? I've had an idea for a niche porn site.
Hopefully your degree covered business sense, if not you might need a further spell in Uni.
Like any company it's business sense and what sells that counts.
Porn is a product, keeping it fresh and new is the key. No point covering ground already been done, unless of course you can enhance or add to it in some form.
Start small and build from there. Have a first aider on set, maybe a fire warden too.
Have some sort of insurance to cover injuries on set and disputes over payment. Have a legal team/advisor at hand.
Most important thing of all.....Don't tell your parents until you're rolling in money. They'll love you then.

I shall wish you good luck, though the industry is dead. The leading producers are all in their safe havens in Vegas. (They’re all dirty dogs and swindlers)
The majority want to see amateur productions now, the internet has destroyed the industry tbh. The only way to make money from it is to be the star. This means that you film,produce and star in all of your own productions.
I’d think about documentaries, they seem to be popular at the moment.

I think that the nanny state classes it as “extreme” pornography. The only extreme thing about it, is that it was banned. I’m sure that watersports is fine though. It was generally extreme bdsm/torture/r8pe role play etc that has been made illegal to film/watch.
Allegedly anyone that’s into that type of pornography - is likely to take it further. Minority report attempts essentially. |

Plus the goverment can't be seen raking in tax money on the sale of such material, too imoral.
