Yup, I get this every time. Have only managed to make it happen once thanks to this site.
Met one guy and was going to call it a night and then get chatting to someone else who I swear was only a few doors away ( both in my verifications  )

Yes all the time I agree; I’m away about twice a week.
The ‘who is near’ thing is quite good for seeing who is close by when away; it worked for me a couple times on my old profile

That's brilliant! I've used this and been lucky enough to have hotel meets (old profile). But, i saw an opportunity with people eating alone and created an app called StAbL (on the app stores) to allow you to check into a hotel you're at and see who else is there. The idea is to meet business professionals who are working away for dinner (table share) but I've also been using it for hook ups! A dinner and a few drinks can lead to many things hehe
