I only cut them out if they're really visible. Cutting them can leave an unattractive frayed edge or make them rough so they irritate my skin. If they really get in the way I undo the stitching so there's no trace. |

I do occasionally cut mine out, but the itchy edge can be a problem.
However on a slightly different note, I bought a suspender belt the other day that actually had those annoying loop hangers that girl clothes seem to some with!
