Yes caution on these sites is a must, but also there are some who actually have clear rules and practices on this, licensing agreements "ownership and publisher", security and protection of others data. Genuine photographers of any repute like any artist see things differently and can bring images to life, most quasi photographers rely on the electronics of the cameras which may be good but are still constrained by rules and algorithms. It is not about having a camera, but about using it and ending with a good quality photos.
