If you found yourself in a situation requiring one, what would you choose as your safeword.
On both of the previous role play situations i’ve been in which required one i’ve suggested Juliet Bravo.

Standard safewords in bdsm include yellow as 'some things not quite right and needs changing ' and red which is stop immediately. So long as all agree before you can choose anything but it should generally not be stop or no. |

That's ok if you one on one but if you want to warm your partner things are getting a bit too rowdy but you're not wanting to stop you need something a little bit more under the radar..
So what your (it's good but no further word)..

Excellent if you end up in a b&b doing a breathplay scene |

Always have two safe words one to ease off and one to stop. We also us hand signals which is the ok hand sign to stop play and check as the ok sign is easy to see and recognise as a clenched fist or waving could happen with the play and not be picked up on. |

Usual traffic sign system. With some I swap amber with 'mercy' as used on a website called Kink which is in a fortress.
Breath play, a tap, if restrained a shake of the head. But I generally ask how people are doing on a regular basis. |

"Teresa May
That would be a sure fire way to make an aggresive cock go floppy!"
I had exactly the same thought myself. Suppose it could be code for just keep going with the same thing over and over and over again |

"Teresa May
Is that for 'Stop' or 'repeat again'?"
or just keep going on and on even though nobody is having fun and nothing good is going to cum at the end of it. Could also be code for "I don't want anything hard" |

I have found that a three level system works well when agreed and understood beforehand, using simple single syllable words or easy to make/see signals if voice is restricted. Usually along the lines of meaning 1)'that's my limit, don't stop but don't ramp it up anymore', 2)'that's too much, take things back a touch but carry on', and 3)'stop at once'.
Communication is of course always key and it's always important to discuss and understand everyone's boundaries, limits and so forth before activities commence |

Different words to remember just get lost in subspace.
We always stay with the traffic light system through experience.
I will also ask for a 'colour' on occasion which forced the sub to think and then apply the colour appropriate. Green can then be used as 'I'm into it carry on'.
Easier to ask without ruining the scene and also can be reassuring for those less experienced that the Dominant is checking in. |

Traffic light system for us as it means we never get to Red so play needn't stop we just change what we are doing if sub'r' uses yellow/amber. Red is always there for her to use though if she needs me to stop immediately.
When gagged she holds an object in her hand, if she drops it then it is taken as saying red and play stops immediately. So she can be ungagged and we can find out what the problem is. |

This sounds like quite an effective system |

exactly this! The only thing i will add is yes it can be anything you like but it should be something that's very easy and quick to say and easy to remember. |
