I have met some lovely people on here and got verifications, I browse who is looking to meet and read their profile etc to see if I am what they are looking for
When I do contact them I ask for a polite yes or no response - I find my message is just deleted without a reply - how hard would it be out of politeness for them to reply with a 'thank you - but not no - or is it just me....lol x |

We don't reply to every message, if it's the " hey fancy a fuck or similar short message " we don't bother , if someone has put effort into their message but we aren't interested then we usually send a polite " not interested thanks " . You do get the odd idiot who then comes back with abuse , which puts a lot of people off replying to people they aren't interested in . |

"I do send a well thought out message (never a one liner or fancy a fuck etc)
But only very occassionally do I get a nice reply back "
If they delete it they are letting you know they are not interested, it can be harsh having an inbox full of people saying "no thank you you are not for us".
Often when people reply no thank you they then get back lots of other questions about why and can an exception be made, and referring to other verifications some people they feel are similar to themselves. People get a lot of messages and it can be just too much so it's easier to follow site frequently asked questions guidance,- delete if not interested. |

Nobody owes you a reply, that's the one thing to remember. You wouldn't reply to junk mail that came through your letterbox. Remember that you are not the only one who is sending these people messages. They havent specifically asked you to message, so see the no reply as a no thank you ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

This really....it can be overwhelming at times. We do try to reply to most...but sometimes, kids/life happens etc...can forget to reply or just delete.
Best way to look at it is - if there’s interest, you’ll definitely get a reply. If there’s no reply and it’s deleted...it’s almost never personal, we all have a lot to manage.
Don’t overthink the negatives and enjoy the positives xx |

We don't reply about the junk mail posted through the letter box I just keep sending invoices to royal mail for my time and effort disposing of it..after all they get paid to dump it on our property so only fair I get paid disposing of rubbish they've been paid to dump.... |

If you get a reply that's great even if it's a polite no thank you but I wouldn't worry about not getting a reply, as many have said before the amount of messages women and couples receive they would be spending the best part of the day sending replies to people they arent intrested in instead of focusing on people that they have an interest in. |

I do delete any that have deleted my message - should I block these ones to save me contacting them in the future (no realising I contacted them previously - yes, I do need a secretary...lol) any that have not deleted my message could mean a maybe, no now, etc etc |

Refer to the FAQs page of the Site:
There are too many rude people on here who don't reply to my messages!
It's not rude not to reply.
Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone.
If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested.
If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?

Obviously not everyone has a secretary and will only treat you and your message like spam in their inbox but will always want to seek a emotional connection with anyone else befitting their impeccable physical standards which are unfortunately don't fit you and in order to save the embarrassment off having to let you down or call you a ugly or dumping on your self worth and will just delete and forget that you are a human being of feeling and value and will make you out to be the bog standard pervert only seeking sex and gratification instead which they will offer to the right candidate for validation.
So just move on. |

We try and send a polite reply to all messages, even the rude or completely inappropriate ones, but we get a relatively small number (we blocked messages from single guys early on). I can imagine if we got many our messages this would be unsustainable.
On the flip side, if we send a message and it's of no interest, it's quite useful seeing it's been deleted, rather than wondering if we'll get a reply. |

You should use your profile as you see fit. Just as others use theirs the way they do. If you feel like blocking those who don't respond is the best way to go, then that is definitely an option ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

We send a nice reply if it's a nice opening message. Alot of couples get 100s of messages a day and can't reply to everyone x |

There and to the left a bit |
"I do delete any that have deleted my message - should I block these ones to save me contacting them in the future (no realising I contacted them previously - yes, I do need a secretary...lol) any that have not deleted my message could mean a maybe, no now, etc etc"
I think you're overthinking it with that last part - read but not deleted could mean anything, including the recipient just not having cleared out their mailbox and deleted the message. Best thing you can do is either delete a message once you have sent it, or learn to ignore your sent folder and not look at it for some kind of "sign".
