It always amazes me the people that moan about the amount or type of messages they get off single males when there is the facility to block messages from guys. |

Some of us like meeting guys, and the search facilities break down with the numbers involved.
Why should the onus be on me to make my life harder, rather than people sending rude, violent, disgusting, abusive messages to strangers to... not do that? |

Yeh but the people who would really benefit from that (newbie single fems just looking for couples/fems) probably don't know about the facility (tho after 850 messages in 24 hrs they are grateful to find out) |

Yes. But searching given the numbers involved is difficult. So I leave my filters open as guys have a much smaller pool to search.
But even if I didn't... The people most in the wrong are the people sending vile messages. |

I agree, vile messages are unacceptable , I think the filters on here should be improved |

It's unavoidable if you're actually after single guys though, it's not the woman's fault people are being rude/disrespectful in messages.
That being said being able to block guys was a great find for me, my first week here I had about 15 messages from dudes/TV despite my profile saying i'm a straight dude. Reading is hard for some  |

The problem with labels is that there are a lot of bi dudes, who believe that being honest about their sexuality will limit their chances.
Also straight dudes who put bi, to meet couples.
Also straight men who consider meeting TVs to be straight behaviour.
No judgement, but straight means virtually nothing on this site.
A more useful filter would be a minimum number of characters. |

Or at least put "Not looking to meet single guys" on your profile.
The amount of couples that don't & when I message say "Sorry, we're not looking to meet guys".
I know that it won't deter all of them but it's a start.

That’s doesnt really work. We’ve had not looking to meet straightnir attached guys on our profile for months....95% of our messages are from them, so we’ve now blocked all single guys |

Because I want to meet single men. There's so many on here that meet my search criteria that I can go through pages and pages and still only see those who have been online in the last couple of hours. I'd never have met some of my favourites if I didn't allow single men to message me. |

Sometimes when they're particularly abusive. A lot of my messages are piss poor but I just ignore those and respond to the decent ones. |
