On a serious note, why is all the interesting meets that actually interest me ALWAYS on the other bloody side of london or so far out of london that it's just as bad?
All the good meets freaquantly are in surry, or kent or NW london or SW london, hardly anything seems to hapen in east london, I know it's not the nicest of places but there can't be so few people that no one wants to meet? |

if being too london centric is an issue for you... god forbid that you were to live anywhere else...
like the rest of us in other parts of the country... there are these things call taxi's... or public transport that we use...

I think you miss understand me, I never said I wasn't willing to travel and if you look at my profile you'll notice a "Can travel".
My problem is when meets are over an hour away by bus/train, And Taxi is far to expensive especially to go the kind of distances I'm talking about.
If I had a car then most places would be about an hour away by car, that's reasonable in my opinion.
By bus or train there often an hour and a half or even more. I Don't think it's worth going to meet more then an hour and a half by public transport and nor do I want to sit on public transport for that long; so excuse me for not wanting to deal with that, becuase I don't think any one wants to deal with public transport for that long, for a meet that only lasts a few hours and then to have to have slog back on the night busses which take's even longer.
Also you have yet to actually answer my question, why is all the good stuff so hideously far away.
P.s. I don't have the money for nights stay at a hotel, if I did I would just go to a swingers club.
p.p.s. Do you honestly think I would complain over a 40 minute journey on a bus/train on the forums?

We have the problem of we have to use public transport BUT the trains stop running at a certain time sooo we have to leave early which is embarresing. If we are lucky enough to get one near that has the night bus running then we go as close as we can to home and take ataxi.
The other night we were stood at a bus stop at one in the morning my hold ups froze and wouldnt stay up , i looked like Nora batty.
If i had dangly bits they would of frozen.
Boy was it drafty, just thank my lucky stars i hadnt gone comando  |

Wow, I would say that's never happend to me but the problem is that I can't really be going commando if I never where underwear. Thankfully I wear jeans and a have a large leather trench coat which keeps all the warmth I generate inside (this includes the dangly bits.
I know the trains stoping is a pain, I've been forced to use the busses a few times becuase I forgot (read enjoying myself too much) the time, so I definatly get that it IS a real pain in the but. I don't know the N busses all the well but I have yet to get lost so I guess my sense of direction must be pretty good, built in satnav perhaps ?  |
