A couple sent me a Wink then a Friend Request, I accepted there Request, and now they have blocked me! Honestly what is the point in that?

It's not like I was the one who sent the invite!

So they sent a friends invite, seen his pics, didnt like the look of him (we are allowed a preference you know) and so blocked so that they didnt make the mistake of contacting him again.

Does that make them fake? WTF?

Or, would it be better, to see his private pics and just delete from friends list, only to maybe ask again in a years time?

Sorry, some people really need to have a serious word with themselves. Just cos someone has a preference doesnt make them a fake or for them to be named and shamed.

Steve

although were sure your a very nice guy maybe they didnt like your private pics, maybe they where turned off by them maybe they recognized you any of these things may cause them to block you and therefor not want to see or hear from you again.

Dont worry about it just move on there are millions of others out there just waiting to hear from you.

"Barry, people use it as a way of quickly seeing your private pics."

As far as I am aware, friends can only see public and friends only pictures; the private one's can only seen by attaching them to a message and by the person who set the profile up

Friends only pics are known as private pics to most people.

All Valid points there! I'm not into naming and shaming, it's one persons word against another's, as for there profile, it was a bit iffy, 1picture, 0 Private pics and no Verifications, TBH I'm not that arsed, was just wanting to see if anyone else had experienced the same thing.

Ah I didn't know that, well I've only been here 2.5 years and only just worked out the difference between all three picture settings

I've sent "winks" and "friends invites" on many occaisions purely unintentionally.

Usually though, I'll send a message saying sorry, and I explain it was sent in error

Likewise. Now I insist on a message with any invite. Not 100% foolproof but it filters most of the pic ooglers!

Peaky Nipples

I've inadvertently blocked someone thanks to _iewing emails on my phone! Between having to enlarge the screen to read and the bloody touch screen not always doing what you ask and doing what it likes, instead of just moving to the next unread message, it deleted and blocked and then moved to next unread message!

Was only when I used the PC to access the website that i realised what had been done.

I've had the same done to me - had to re-add someone as they'd deleted me by mistake when _iewing via their phone lol

Not saying this was the case for the OP but giving it as an example of a new type of problem now we're accessing the site by dodgy smart phones lol

they winked

they sent a friends request

they blocked

yes name and shame them, if you need a category for the naming and shaming, log it under 'using the site's tools'

and choosing not to avail themselves of the OP's tool.

I personally would hunt the feckers down and tar and feather.....

Mate, you're better than that!

Next time you get a friend request, try sending them a message asking them for a bit more about themselves. If you get something back, then it's up to you to accept. If you don't, delete the request and move on.

We've all got needs and requirements some people have a habit of ignoring.

They didn't like what they saw, simples. Just forget, I don't think it has happened to us but if it did I wouldn't have a clue. Lol. Don't track what happens after winking or adding. X
