depends if this is their first experience of internet forums or not...this place is very newbie friendly and gentle compared to most

little house on the praire

I agree with jemima, although there is always lots of threads about this place not being newbie friendly. This is one of the milder sites whether swinging or just in general. When we had the old forums here, which was over two years ago even i needed to put my tin hat on at times.

Unless someone is going to post something they know they are going to be shot down in flames for i cant see the problem. Its always uncomfortable to do something new for the first time in life, i remember my very first forum post on a site. But you got to get in there and do it

When i was a regular poster on another swinging site i do not remember eanyone caring if the forum was newbie friendly or not.

i still remember my first thread...a newbie rant about men asking to meet me seperately. 2 regulars ripped me to shreds and basically said i should be grateful for any attention i got

People seem to have trouble with the idea this is a public space, when they put up an opinion they no have any control over what happens next.

The point of a forum is that individuals give their views..."an assembly, meeting place, television program, etc., for the discussion of questions of public interest." from websters.

It is a place of discusiion, sometimes it seems to me ppl think you should only post if you agree with the OP, not only would that be very dull but it would defeat the point of a forum.

Say for example someone says what is the best position for anal sex...now doggy rarely works for me with large cocks, but reverse cowgirl....oh yes

So i post...is the hread then closed? Of course not, that is just one opinion, and others will have suggestions too...that's a forum.

Well they shouldnt worry so much, i just say what i think, dont really care what people think too much. Its different when you have to see people every day, then you have to be more careful what you say.

Post what you think, you are unlikely to meet the people who flame you, so why care what they say?

And if you ever did meet them, you may find they are very different in person, as to how they come across on the forums. I remember when I first started posting on a swinging forum, on another now paying site, I constantly battled with another poster. We disagreed on everything, from whether the Tories were to blame, to what colour the sky was!!! Then I met him at a munch, he was an awesome guy, we still disagreed on most things, but speaking to him in person gave a whole new spark to our debates!

It's a good point, and probably there are many who don't post for fear of getting a bad response (or being 'ignored'). It's a shame, as the forum would benefit from fresh opinions, humour and topics - and bodies

I've had the odd message after forum posting, in fact I've had some very odd messages altogether...

Forum Mod

O o O oo

I would say go for it....as long as it is within rules of course

I think there are people who mail others rather than post just to cause trouble...because if they post within rules they wouldn't get banned from posting.

I do agree with Diamond, the forum was a nasty place a few years back, and although obviously it can get a bit hairy on here at times, it is a lot calmer now.

Go for it and post, you may enjoy it.

( I am shutting this now , if you have been reading the forums for the last few weeks you can probably guess why )
