My typing skills and speed let me down in the chatrooms by the time i have typed a reply the subject is off screen, so face to face much better and easier.

I do go to clubs and have a fantastic time both chatting and playing. It would be nice to chat in rooms without getting tongue tied and not knowing what to say

Quite true,, some people have wires that touch and shouldn't,,,,,,and some have wires that don't touch that should...a type of short circuit.

Although a big fan of face to face communication, we living in a world where chatting online the norm ( so the kids say

)

Also understand that sometimes, someone can be themselves when writing and can express themselves more clearly when putting things down onto paper so to say

So I understand now,,,I really must keep up with the times....the way to go then is to arrange a meet via chat rooms etc because it's easier,,,,,meet as arranged,,,both take laptops etc...sit opposite each other,,both log on and have a good old on line be chat.

Prefer the written word, as a conversation can last most of the night, without awkward pauses. Just tell them you’re putting the kettle on and get 10 minutes to yourself

I feel the same. Sadly there are a few on this site who just want endless chat but equally there are plenty of decent blokes who want real meets too.
