I would love to be able to offer one day a kind of dressing service for tgirls trying to learn how to dress to find their style.
If any of you have used a dressing service could you tell me the very best things about that, and how your journey took you to finding the styles that suit you best?
Any tips or advice or experiences that you are willing to share, to do with learning to dress and dressing services, I would love to hear. |

Your blonde wig may look weird with those massive black eyebrows. Or with your own dark hair sticking out underneath. Go appropriate with the colour. Also, the wigs that are 3 quid on Ebay and Amazon are 3 quid for a reason. The hair makes a huge difference to the look, it's worth thinking about carefully and investing in. |

I’ve used a number of dressing services over many years. For me, what is key is:
- Connection. Dressing people you want to invest time in / enjoy the company of. This involves clear contracting up front of what is involved and what is not. Attracting the people to your service that are clear what it is you are offering. Avoiding time wasters (without being judgemental) who like to explore the fantasy of dressing but never do.
- Safety (discretion). Most dressing services have a safe location where you can change / relax / get unchanged. Some people have there own wardrobe, however, a lot of people do not and just rely on the dressing service. Even those who have there own stuff normally like to try on the latest clothes / shoes etc that the dressing services may have.
- Accompaniment. A number of dressing services offer accompanied shopping trips / many offer accompanied nights out to a safe space / club.
- Scope of Service. Range of shoes / clothes / wigs / lingerie/ make up / Breast forms etc. Catering from a range of styles from PVC to more office wear. Gear doesn’t have to be extensive, however, it’s important to keep it clean. It’s also important to keep the wardrobe refreshed. People like trying new things.
- Liberated in your sexuality. The best people I’ve seen do this are at ease with who they are. They are great personalities who happen to be passionate and care about offering a service that people need and want.
- Your own model. Design a model that works for your life and circumstances. The demand is out there.
Hope this helps. Jonny (Iona). Dying to get dressed now after writing all that. |

For Tgirls like me it's about passing better, so makeup advice, wigs that suit my face shape etc..add in photography and I'm sure there is a business opportunity.
Only been to one dressing service but that was because I knew they had a wedding dress that I wanted to try on. Before mobile phones so unfortunately no pictures
Sparkle in July, get yourself along, chat to some of the girls, you never know what hints you may get |

I have never used a dressing service and pretty much had to find my own way. A look, or style, evolves; it's nowhere near instantaneous. Keep it simple but don't be afraid to try something sexy, choose outfits for yourself, not necessarily for the benefit of others, decide what colours suit you best and which compliment each other and expect your look to take longer to evolve than you ever thought it would. I'm still evolving but it's a fabulous journey |

I'm very very lucky. My female partner and I are the same clothes size, and we borrow and steal from each other all the time. My best friend is a makeup artist and has taught me everything.
My style is sophisticated and Amazonian. It has to be, I regularly play in front of a crowd. |

I found me quite early on as it is an extension of my kink male self which has been lurking for 20years.
As Robyn above says, I to dont do prissy. Rock goth, domina metal vixen is me.
I am also not afraid to rock out latex in the local shopping mall..
You Will develop your own style as you find and free yourself...

When I dress-up, it's to fulfill my personal vision of a woman that I wish I am - more of an image of my mom - regal, disciplined, modest and take really good care of her appearance and behaviour.
I see her as elegant and that is what I'm striving to be whenever I dress up. |

I used a makeover service years back now, more for make-up and to give me a face that I was confident to go out with in public. My preference is for the more classic styles of dress, the obligatory high heels, stilettos for me and with lucky legs the short dress and mini's. I quite like the understated look which seems to work well for me. |

It will vary for different people but in my own experience when I started dressing it was in rather 'tarty' clothing that I was attracted to girls wearing, such as mini skirts etc (I haven't quite outgrown that though ). As time went on I looked more at clothes that suited me in terms of being able to go out and walk about in public in. I think this is the challenge for many tgirls. Ultimately though everyone will be different and I still love dressing up in things I would never dream of wearing outdoors so there's not really a one size fits all criteria, everyone will be different. I would assume though that the majority of people who use a dressing service would be looking for a more 'realistic' feminine look though, rather than a kinky fantasy look.
Not sure any of this helps lol |

Thank you for all the comments and all the private messages and all the help.
Everything everybody has written has helped.
I'm going to explore suitable places that could be used as a discrete venue as it's not something I could do from my own house at the moment. |

Not really got style but I wear usually shorter miniskirts to show off my legs. Usually a top which goes with the skirt, I try to go for a girly look but more than likely a slutty appearance. Heels, stockings and suspenders are essential x panties optional |

I've never used a dressing service but above all I would make sure you have a huge variety of everything - every colour and style of (quality) wig, a wide variety of sizes, colours and styles of clothing, underwear and shoes.
I've wasted a lot of time and money buying things that just weren't right for me.
Then I would encourage your clients to try different things. They will have an idea of a style they like but it may just not suit them so getting them to try say a shorter wig for example might surprise them.
Makeup is another big one. You will need to be able to offer excellent makeup skills with the ability to cover the masculine features and make a face look as feminine as possible, and again, lots of variety so your clients can try different colours and styles and see what works for them. |

Never used a full dressing service, I had a female friend that encouraged me and advised me on what suited me.
She on occasions did my make up for me, my god she did it well. I fancied myself.
I would love to use a dressing service, but can't find one close enough. |
