Love mixing it up My personal fav on female is a full natural.

On men like them hairy pubic patch but shaved balls / taint etc Smooth only guys really only do it for me if they have fit muscle bodies abs smooth all over

But tbh it's not really a deal breaker Unless hairy nuts then simply I wouldn't bother going down there

Personally I have a slight preference for trimmed or smooth but it has never been an especually big issue.

Have used IPL on myself I now don't have an option but smooth for sometime.
