I was proud of Joe Root the England cricket captain for standing up to homophobic abuse. As a bi guy, it was good to hear Joe say that calling him gay was not an insult. He’s gone massively up in the estimation |

Bisexual men shouldn't even comment on the story. They don't know half of what gay males have to put up with. If Joe Root said he was bisexual and liked to lick out a woman's fanny occasionally nobody would mind. |

I’ve always been a bit guarded about pushing my sexuality down people’s throats  ) if you know what I mean. It shouldn’t matter what you do behind closed doors but it’s easy to think that everyone is cool and laid back about it because of sites like this. Sometimes you get a real jolt when you encounter discrimination and it makes you realise that it’s right to be cautious. |
