Once I went to the Aurora Hotel in Manchester with a married lady for the afternoon and night. First of all I have to say I have a very common name, not far off John Smith. When we checked in I gave them my name and they confirmed my address which was incorrect. I corrected them, we took our key card and went to the room. We had dinner, went to a club and listened to some music. We went back to the hotel and decided to have a drink in the bar. As we stood at the bar we noticed the other couple, we sat as far away from them as possible.
The following morning we saw the manager and she gave us a great discount and guaranteed it for future bookings, (they stood by this).
I left to pick up my car from a nearby car park leaving the lady in reception with our luggage. When I picked her up she hurried out, evidently while she was sitting there the other couple came down to check out.
All I can presume is that he had the same common name as I, I do wonder if he tells their side of the story. |

I took a gulet holiday with my ex. The gulets are traditional wooden sailing boats typically with about 6 guest cabins and due to fire safety the cabins dont have locks on the doors.
