So what is the deal with drinks, lockers etc??
I have a choice of 3 latex outfits to wear, nothing spectacular but hoping they will allow entry

Ahead of the New Year I ran my Victorian Gothic outfit past TG only to be told that I was wearing suit and it was more daring if I went topless or wore a mesh shirt. Entirely, daring and original ideas!
They were some fabulous outfits but most people wore outfits you would see in most other fetish clubs. I would have said 50% of the women were in lingerie (possibly having changed when they got in).
I relied on the following advice:
" ...you aren’t sure that your outfit is extreme enough (no need to check full latex/ leather looks etc)"

Multiple bars that take cash or cards.
No lockers but cloakrooms. £2 per item....
We use a bin liner... put in coats and a lower pair of heels for L.... bag is one item  cloakroom is cash only.
Another tip we learnt was photo the cloakroom ticket... if you lose the ticket you have to wait till evening ends to get your stuff

I would go again with a friend of mine who likes to wear latex and dance. But I spent my night in the dungeon (did not do anything) and as a result of what I saw I have deactivated my FL account and taking a time out from kink. I would not go near the dungeon again. |

TG isn't the best place for true kink/fetish as you will get the tourists and those "trying it".
It's a "show myself off" sort of event (nothing wrong with that) but there are definitely more events like Subversion, AC, etc that are monitored and genuinely have those in the kink community at the core of them.
There is always a man at these places thinking that he'll chance it because a woman is bent over or in the middle of play, it's up to the organisers to help monitor and prevent this type of activity to make it a safe space to express and explore kinks. |

I think if you treat it as a non kink event it is Ok. Subversion is no longer happening but I would not attend as I think Mistress Absolute and her dommes are up their own arses. But I reckon it will return with another name.
Antichrist at Metalworkz was good but I did not like it when it moved to Heat.
