Apparently I'm too nice !

I just got told this by a friend of mine. She and I were an item a while back and she knows I'm a dirty fucker who can push all the buttons and go all night. But I'm too nice and that's why I get no meets on here.
So is that true ? is being nice a disadvantage ? |

Ah the old "why do chicks dig jerks?" chestnut.
It's not so much that women are attracted to guys with lousy personalities, its more a case that jerks, bad boys, whatever you want to call them, have certain personality traits that activate a woman's attraction circuits on a subconscious level - specifically strength, independence, leadership, confidence, non-neediness etc.
Women will often entirely overlook all of the bad points because those things that their subconscious considers to be valuable traits in a man come through so strongly.
Of course its the guys who can demonstrate those kinds of characteristics but remain genuinely nice and decent fellows at the same time who are the real alpha males and will clean up every time.

Be ture to yourself and who you are ..... why change to fit in ... you are who you are ...... and if thay dont like you or wish to meet thay are not for you x Nasty people i would never meet .. as swinging is about fun having a good time .Dont let others put you down ok xx As thay will some get off on it xx |

i tend to agree ,except for the subconscious part. on here women are generally looking for nsa, neediness and whining suggest its not going to be a good shag and then fuck off, then what you mean by nice becomes very important.
Add in the fact nice guys finish last can turn into the worst sort of male entitlement (i was nice to you therefore deserve a shag) and you have a whole host of red flags.
Op be yourself, nothing else works in the long run. |

Yeah I get all that, IMHO I've always been in the "loveable rogue" class myself. Being a biker and not following the rules in their entirety lol and yet as a single dad being the responsible and caring one too. I was having a chat with the girl last night and talking about how I get no responses to genuine mails. Is it bad to use respect as platform for saying hello, I feel that I shouldn't say anything in a first mail that I wouldn't use as an opening line if I spoke to them in a pub.
Polo..I'm pretty sure she wasn't making me feel better it was a genuinely honest comment. I've known the girl long enough not to have to play games like that.
I've always been honest and myself and wont ever change that. I'm not needy and whiny either lol I've been on scene for 6 years and those I've met are generally more than happy. but as you'll see from my verifications no joy on this site.

I have been called a nice guy a lot... i don't think it is a disadvantage at all... I think in my case it is a case of learning to be more Assertive... more Forward...and that has taken a long time to get to where i am now...... and even then i think i have a long way in myself to go |

I would suggest working on your seduction techniques. Good pick-up lines are: "Do as I say and you won't get hurt" and "This isn't a toy gun, bitch!" If all else fails you could try either chloroform or a stun-gun, you might also consider constructing a hidden cellar if you are planning on a longer-term relationship.  |

Think she may have been saying it to stop you feeling bad because you dont get meets. I only ever meet nice guys, why would someone meet someone who wasnt nice? Unless your well ott with cheesiness and are very false in the niceness then i certainly dont think being nice is the problem |
